JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for playing an active role in requirements gathering, design, configuration and project reviews with users
and sign off as well as assisting in development of logical and physical specifications. Duties will include designing and
implementing comprehensive backup plan and disaster recovery strategies; monitoring and modifying performance using execution
plans and index tuning; rebuilding the indexes at regular intervals for better performance; participating in troubleshooting
and fine-tuning of databases for its performance and concurrency; monitoring SQL server performance and tuning the same to
optimize application and system performance; identifying and communicating technical problems, processes and solutions,
preparing reports and documentation about the database; and documenting status, operation and maintenance of software.

EXPERIENCE/
QUALIFICATIONS
Master's or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science or related field
plus one year of experience. Experience with SQL, VB, Oracle, Crystal Reports,
ASP, MS SQL server administration and management, and Windows reqd.
Hours:(40 hrs/week)
Salary: $81,037/year |
